The Wordtune extension integrates directly into Chrome, Firefox, Arc, and Edge, allowing you to use Wordtune’s features on any website where you write.
The Wordtune web application is a web-based platform where you can access the full range of Wordtune’s features. It offers an alternative writing environment where you can draft and edit your work, with your writing automatically saved as drafts.
- Download the extension from your browser add-in store of choice.
- Click “Add the extension” and accept the permissions.
- In the top-right corner of your browser, click the puzzle piece icon.
- Select Wordtune in the list, and pin it to your browser toolbar.

- Go to any page where you want to improve your writing. As you start writing, the extension will appear as a draggable icon that you can move around your screen for easy access.
- Click the Wordtune icon to rewrite your text in different tones or generate more content.
- Use the keyboard shortcut Command + D on Mac or Control + D on PC to activate the extension directly in-line with your writing.
- To disable the extension on specific sites, click the pinned extension icon in the top-right corner of your browser and toggle the setting.

Wordtune currently supports translating and rewriting text from Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, Hindi, Korean, Hebrew, Russian, German, French, and Portuguese into English. You can input text in any of these languages, but please note that the output will be in English.
